Would You Rather Share or Give?

As I thought to share the knowledge I acquired yesterday, I pondered on the appropriate title. “Share” stood out for me.

There is a vulnerability that comes when we share that is not available when we give.

I consider giving as condescending while sharing is empathetic. Both are acts of parting with our possessions though.

These are my personal thoughts and convictions which have not been subjected to any empirical scrutiny.

They come from my guts and intuition.

So in your spare time think about the act of sharing (there is a partnership). I found myself laughing as I was busy demonstrating the feeling which we can only feel but can’t express. 🤣🤣

But when on the other hand you give, it’s comes across as handout that makes one feel powerful or superior (advantaged).

The moral of this my small talk is that when we share, we partake of that community but we are mostly aloof when we hand down or give.

I’m going to share the knowledge in another post so its importance doesn’t get lost here. 🥹
