A Tribute To My Mother

A Tribute to my Mum, 4years on.

This is a hard post. 😢 🤔

4 years ago, early on 20/01/2017 I woke up to the news that finally shattered my entire world. That my Mum has joined my Dad at Jesus’s feet. At least her presence made us able to cope with our Dad not being here anymore

My mother, Lady Beatrice Ochen Obele, is one-in-a-lifetime Mum. She is a strong personality filled with wisdom from Above

After her exit, I wrote about her almost every other day with the hope that the pain would go. No way.

Then I decided to go silent…perhaps ignoring it would make the pain go away…I almost burned.

Even today, I had no plan to make this post. I decided to keep myself very busy. Boy! Today has been very busy but my Mum like my Dad is an engraved part of me.

So I have decided that I won’t run away anymore. I’d mourn. I’d allow myself to feel the pain. I’d trust God to take care of us. He has. He always will.

May the God of All Comfort continue to comfort all of us who mourn. I pray with thanksgiving in Jesus name. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
