A Little Encouragement

Every so often we need to stop and give ourselves, our neighbors, someone some encouragement. We all need it.

Does your world appear to be crashing? As though you are losing them all… friends, relationships, source of income. Or maybe you’ve aimed high and it’s becoming an illusion. Hang in there. Have faith in God. Trust Him through His son Jesus Christ. Your dreams would surely come to pass

Do not despise the trials and challenges. Stay true to yourself. Be your own friend and don’t indulge in any form of pity-parting. Shun every attempt to seek short cuts.

There is everything good with aiming high and dreaming big. God told Abraham that He would give him as far as he could see; more of a blank cheque. Did he cash it fully the same day? No! If we recall, after waiting for so long for a son, they thought to help God out by getting a son through their maid. God still said they would have their own child. When the child eventually came, God asked him to give up the son as a sacrifice. This shows that even when the hand of God is upon you for greatness, you’d still face challenges.

So having believed and done all, we have need for patience. For much haste lies in the bossom of fools. The greatest encouragement we can ever have, after that from the Holy Spirit is the one we give ourselves

Is it possible that you would live your life pleasing God and He would lift you and then allow you to crash? Yes. Check out Job. However, He will not abandon you because His thoughts for you are of good. To give you a hope and a future and bring you to an expected end. He will always work things out so you come forth victorious.

What’s your expectations from God? They shall not be cut short.

It is imperative we understand that when when we face challenges, we come out stronger and wiser
