Curious About the Future Generation

I’m kind of curious…

Those adults that sit on social media everyday or almost, spreading negativity and woes about the future of Nigeria; what exactly are they teaching their children and the young ones within their sphere of influence?

I’m curious as to the future you are leaving for your own children, when all you search out and the interpretation you give is of a bleak Nigeria. So you get it, that it is Nigerian parents I am very curious about.

Are you telling them that you’ve brought them into hopelessness and you’d be leaving them without hope? Or that they should go fight for their future themselves, because you have nothing better to offer?

Could you even please stop for a second and think about the legacy you are leaving for your own children?

After all is said and done, those bad vibes aren’t going to affect the people you think you are trying to run down because you don’t have any control over them.

So deal with your own circle. Create an environment that allows you think constructively and see the transformation that would be borne. But this would start with you creating a positive mindset.

The Bible aptly warns us about the consequences of the words that proceed from our mouth.

For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.” Matt 12:34-40 And the day of judgement could be any day.

I believe we can and should create a better future and hope for our children. Therein lies the strength of my curiosity.

With much love and respect always,
