Loosing Weight Ideas

The key to loosing weight is commitment and persistence. Though there is no one size fits all when it comes to these regimes, but tested over time, these keys would open any door…loosing weight inclusive.

I embarked on my journey several years back. Bought all the gym wears I could afford, bought Treadmill, workout equipments, I went out for walks, to the gym, toyed with reducing food portions and even engaged a professional biker to teach me to ride the bicycle and I got myleg fractured! Thatbecame a huge setback.

But I did not relent.

People would tell me that at a certain age, weight just piles on, so why bother myself? Back then when my father sees the frustration…oh my wonderful Apa! He will say don’t be distressed. You are well built not overweight. That would calm me down. Yes! Don’t try loosing weight out of frustration, you would burn out. Make it a target lifestyle. Enjoy doing it.

The accessories I bought gave a fun feeling when I didn’t feel so like it. When the rains come pouring Treadmill is there to the rescue. I enjoyed walks within the neighbourhood for the sights and the open air. So just generally stock up as we don’t know what each day would bring and if you have some friends to support you like I did sometimes, good for you otherwise, this race is personal…so you have to motivate yourself.

Here I am today fitting very well into clothes I have been unable to wear for upwards of three (3) clear years!

Persistence and commitment do count in our bid at loosing weight. We need to watch our intake as well as the timing. I eat practically everything, but those foods which are classified as bad carbohydrates were the worst hit. Then take a lot of liquids avoiding the sweet ones & alcoholic beverages, except freshly extracted juices (that worked for me.)

You too can…not just loosing weight but whatever you so desire to achieve with God as our Helper!
