Whither the Nigerian Youths

Whither the Nigerian Youth???

Why are our youths so gullible and “senseless”? They are either on social media writing what they know nothing about, in support of people that don’t give a damn about them except to the extent they can use them to achieve their objective or they are out there getting killed; again in support of what they don’t understand or persons that don’t care about them!

When una die finish and waste your life doing rubbish, then the current elders will remain in power until the kids being born now grow up to possibly take over leadership; or they handover to their children who never engage in these strange ventures! And we wonder why leadership seems to reside in perpetuity with the leading class?

If we can’t stop now and think then ask ourselves how our current activities would help us to achieve a greater tomorrow, then let’s wait, youths from other planets that don’t have their own challenges will come and think for us.

Think Nigerian Youths! Think!

Well, its quite unfortunate that most of our youths today embark on such unthinkable exercise. Though, they do such just to save themselves from the pangs of hunger and as flimsy as this excuse might be, that’s what society wants hear, that’s what they call politics. Don’t you see what political parties or politicians who suppose to be responsible citizens say on air? That’s what joblessness can do to a man

Many thanks Zack for sharing your thoughts. We do not overlook the pangs of hunger like you have described. We are faced with challenges on a daily basis and agreed that they come in varying degrees. However, we must strive to apply wisdom always. You would agree that wisdom is not a function of how financially stable you are. It is wisdom that actually gives you the power to create and have wealth. And every citizen irrespective of where we stand in polity is meant to be responsible. Kind regards.
