Osila Goes to School – Series
Compliments of the Season, my dear friends. I recently enrolled in School and I have decided to share the experience with you.
People have asked me why? Me: I don’t know o. I know however that learning is unending and not all that we know is correct. Besides we don’t know all there is to know. And so, we continue in the process of learning, unlearning and relearning.
I enrolled for a Masters program…M.Sc Accounting to be precise. I graduated in 1988, so imagine me returning to school environment how many years after!
Now I am juggling business, fending for my household and getting an education.
I no go lie, sometimes I have felt like crying and other times I just urge myself on, but though it is challenging, I believe it is also a rewarding experience.
Did I tell you most if not all my course mates are of the age of my child, nephews & nieces? I recall during my matriculation ceremony, my big brother saw the photos and asked why so many children where in the background!
But school is good. It is refreshing. I am going to keep sharing my experience on this journey with you.
Stay on!
