Coping With The Time: Praying Helps

Praying is our way of communicating with God our Creator. It’s an opportunity to express ourselves and get a feedback or instruction from Him.

It is therefore a veritable tool in a crisis period, such as the World is experiencing now. What with the Covid-19 🦠pandemic, rape cases, racism and others confronting us?

I believe that the World was created by God. That He knows the end from the beginning and also knows every event way before they occur. This also means that He knows all the solutions and resolutions. Like the Bible says, who can say a thing and it comes to pass if the Lord has not approved it? It therefore behooves on us to seek direction consistently from God, so He guides us on how to work around any and every situation.

Only a fool would say there is no God or claim they do not have need for Him. It’s quite funny too when we claim that we have our brain, so we should use it and stop disturbing God. Remember “Do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge God and He shall direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6 Also “Commit your ways unto God, delight in Him and He shall establish your thoughts.” Psalm 37:4 These are just a few pointers and reminders on our need to continue praying, in and out of season. Praying enhances our confidence level, particularly when we pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

May the Lord hear us as we pray. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Thanks for this thoughtful homily on the subject of Prayer. I am blessed by it. In times like this when men’s hearts are failing them; the assurances of answered prayers, in Jesus name, is very soothing, giving us the confidence to yield our conquered will to God, in our secret closets.
In this holy place, the strength or wisdom to climb, walk through, walk around, or even yet fly over the challenges of life is freely offered us by God. Let us never forget that He has given us power to thread on serpents and scorpions and over all the powers that confront us. Though they exist, they’ve been conquered on our behalf, and we need affirm our victory to prevail. We sometimes may grown not in our human language but in His Spirit’s tongue, with burdened hearts which no demonic force could hinder. At this point, we have truly stopped to lean on our own understanding, acknowledging His Superior ways.
Prayer is a service that the Believer in Christ could render to his generation, otherwise he may have lost his saltness. Wherewith could the Lord reveal His mind to His chosen servants on an upcoming threats. He could not hide the destruction of Sodom from Abraham His friend; and He never will destroy the righteous with the wicked all together.
It is in this regard I thought to contribute to this worthy sermon, so that the Church Militant may remain His Weapon of Warfare until He come.
May the Lord continue to depend on you, dear sister.
    Shalom!
