Coping with Covid-19

We are faced with Covid-19 pandemic the World over and it is a stack reality we can’t hide from.

Sometimes what starts out like a joke takes on a life of its own and practically overwhelms you. When I first heard of Corona Virus, it was like “what is this virus that bears same name as one of us?” and we all laughed!

Today, it has almost crippled the entire World. People have died in their thousands from causes related to the virus. Nations have gone on lockdowns just to flatten the curve of its spread. The economies are almost on their knees. There are no known cures. What we need to do in the interim is observe safety measures. The Scientists are at work. The Leaders are consulting and giving directives. Everybody is concerned; is it true or could it just be a cover up of some sort?

I believe Covid-19 as a 🦠 is real and that the World is passing through a phase. We may call it a Reset; where we are having to rethink almost every aspect of life, relationships and living.

God is in the midst of us, perfecting His counsel.

Covid-19 is not a death sentence, although there is no known cure, there are much more persons recovering from the infection.

We will talk some more, but for now let’s keep ourselves abreast with the happenings around us. Let us obey lawful directives and boost our humaneness.

We could get up to date details from Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

Stay safe!

“Sometimes what starts out like a joke takes on a life of its own and practically overwhelms you”, this is so apt. In the long run this too would pass.
