What Christmas means to me

Merry Christmas Everyone. Joy to the World, the Lord is come. Let the Earth receive her King! 

He came as the King and Savior of the World; yet He chose to come through a controversial means (pregnancy of a betrothed virgin) and born in a lowly manger. When He could have just dropped majestically from Heaven and straight into a mansion or fantastic mind blowing palace. 

But not so. He came in a form that He could easily identify with us all as Emmanuel God with us. 

Today I’m reminded of His humility borne out of compassion and with a grateful heart I ask that that same grace be released upon me. 

So what does Christmas mean to you?
