Marriage; to be or not? My story

Let me lend my voice to this marriage conversation going on, in memory of Osinachi Nwachukwu and others.

So Sisters is there any of us that is in a situation and need to get out but wondering what people would say? If there are Brothers also, please make that call.  It’s your life that is at stake.

Some married people even wake up each day wondering why they are still breathing, because of the marriage they are in.

Really and truly it’s not about other people. It’s about you and your God.

When I needed to get out of my marriage, (I knew before I entered that I seem to have made a mistake but I just went ahead that God will turn it around for good and I’d be a testimony of how God can change a bad situation into a good one.) it was tough!

I endured for 8years until I decided enough was enough and that it was okay if my family disowns me and my friends stay away from me etc.

I came to the realization that the Blood Jesus shed on the Cross was adequate to cleanse me if I leave that marriage and so I did.

All else is history. It’s not been easy cos I never imagined in my wildest thoughts that I’d make such a fundamental error and be in the records as a divorced person but life happens and that’s my lot.

So, we must quit pretending and trying to put up airs as though we have it all put together. Let us not make others feel like orphans while we are the only children of God bla bla bla.  Such behavior makes others among us feel uncomfortable and unable to speak up.

We need to watch out for each other. Not everyone is that strong or “fortunate”. Let’s try to be more supportive.

No be when person don die now or get to a point of no return that we start doing if only we had known.

Good morning this morning.

Make I go back go read I get exams in a few days time o. 😜😜😜
