“Loyalty means I am down with you whether you are wrong or right but I will tell you when you are wrong and help you get it right” (Author Unknown). I agree with this author.

I believe loyalty is akin to friendship. A friend shouldn’t only stick around in good times then pretend/ignore/develop an attitude over the wrong times and perhaps feel “what’s my own? No be adult? Let him/her live his/her life based on their choices”.

While we shouldn’t spend time measuring and assessing the level of friendships and loyalty we give and experience in the course of our time, it however behooves on us to do a self-assessment from time to time to determine the type of person we truly are. None is perfect we know and so on a daily basis we should strive towards perfection.

NOTE

“Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭27:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“A friend loves at all times…”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭17:17‬a ‭NKJV‬‬

“As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭27:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I so long to be a true friend and I am working on it; God being my Helper. What about you?
